If you ask most folks to share their thoughts on American food, you're going to hear a lot about mass-produced burgers, ridiculous portion sizes and sugar galore. Frankly, it's all pretty uninspiring. But it doesn't have to be that way.

Real American food is the product of a cultural melting pot that spans centuries, with an emphasis on regional specialties borne from necessity, geography and creativity. 

It's with that in mind that we hope to introduce folks to legit, Southern cuisine. With an emphasis on the type of food that is loaded with nostalgia, comfort, and good vibes.

A key aspect of what we're about is taking the phrase 'hand-made' to the next level. Why? Because when you make food by hand, you're reaching back in time throughout the history of the dish. Whether it's by way of technique, ingredients, or the overall inspiration, you're building on a way of doing things that sometimes stretches back hundreds, if not thousands of years. With the end result being a meal that is truly one of a kind. That's the American food that we grew up eating. And that's what we want to share with you.

So, you won't find any over the top eating challenges on our menu. Or food that's a carbon copy of those pretend "American" restaurants where everything comes out of a freezer and is unlovingly prepared by folks who wouldn't know the difference between chitlins and grits if their lives depended on it. What you will find is fresh buttermilk biscuits, homemade burger buns and Cuban bread, BBQ sauce that starts out as tomatoes on the smoker, and a love of big, bold flavors that you won't find anywhere else.
